I've been everywhere man...

Okay not really, just around the west of England. Thursday I spent the day in Weston with my boyfriend (we paddled in the mud) Friday I went to see my friend in Portishead and last night I went up to Oxford to see Fei Comodo with the boyf (a band he likes who are doing their last tour. It was okay but really I went for him because I'm lovely.) So yeah I've been travelling a lot and I've actually been really busy, which I like. Today, however, I am planning on being a bum, staying at home all day and not getting dressed. My first lazy day these summer holidays. I wish I had a picture to illustrate these last few days but they're all crap. Actually I may as well.

Also some creepy anonymous person has started following me. Please tell me who you are. x

Gerbils, the zoo, nice weather and the harbour fest

Ok so first of all, one of my gerbils died. His name was Milo and he was adorable.
See? I loved him to bits but I still have Max, who I'll have to spoil now because he'll be lonely without his bro. He seems okay at the moment though which is good.

Anyway my brother and niece were here last week. I've talked about my niece before, she is literally the loveliest toddler in the universe. I suggested we go to the zoo because she'd love it (it was for me really) so we did and yeah it was really fun. They had dinosaur models that roared and she was terrified of them, and she also thought meerkats were gerbils. Cute. I miss her so much. I always miss her when she leaves. but it's the summer holidays now so I can see her a lot more.

The weather is finally getting better, it was decent yesterday and hit 25 degrees today AND it's getting hotter. So happy. I've been at the harbour festival this weekend. I'm not gonna lie it's a pretty shit festival and everything is painfully overpriced, but there's a nice atmosphere and you usually see loads of people you know. I went Friday night and today and despite just sitting in queen's square with a few people I really enjoyed it. Yay for being social.

I also got a new phone but that's boring.

I had a good night

I managed to get into that catface thing I was talking about, by having a fake stamp on my hand. Woo! I was very, very very, very drunk. I helped a couple of people get taxis though because I'm a good samaritan. Overall it was a really good night. I'm gonna go throw up.

I'm a baby

Why am I not 18 yet? I want to go to this thing tomorrow where you draw a cat face on yourself and listen to loud music and get very drunk but ALAS I am 17 and have no form of ID. I've been told to sneak in the back which I will try when I'm drunk and feeling stupidly confident but I'm expecting to get kicked out really.

Today I went to Bath for a school trip thing. It was okay. We just wandered round really. I saw a duck. Then when we got back I made my friend Tom come shoe shopping me in town. I walked pretty much constantly all day and my god my feet hurt.

So on Saturday there are three things going on in Bristol. Gay pride, an EDL march and an anti EDL march...there's going to be a lot of clashes. I will be there watching staying out of the way. Yay.

So that was a lot of crap. Bye.

Everyone watch Project Nim

I'm gonna go save chimps

I'm ill

Like cold, cough, headache all rolled into one. Plus lethargy. Wonderful. I feel like poo on the weekend that I actually had plans, I hardly ever have plans. I missed going to my friend's house, drinking, eating pizza and having a webcam party with our friend who lives in france AND a barbecue. Although the weather was pretty crap anyway.

I've signed up for a Netflix free trial so I've just been watching films and documentaries all weekend since I don't have the energy to do anything else. I watched a documentary by Bill Maher called Religulous which was hilarious and confirmed my suspicions that religion is the stupidest thing ever.

Anyway thought I'd keep you updated on, well, nothing. I'm off to watch Project Nim.

Appreciate what you have

Two posts in one day but I had to get this off my chest.
There are so many people that have it worse off than you. So. Many. People.
It makes me so angry when I see people post things on twitter like 'ffs mum didn't get me what I wanted from the shop UGH stupid bitch' or 'I don't have a boyfriend life is so shit'. Okay I am guilty of complaining sometimes but I'm going to try and stop because, well, my life is amazing compared to some peoples. It makes me feel guilty when I see people with absolutely terrible problems being positive and not complaining and just getting on with it, because they're the people who have every right to complain.

We live in a country where up until around 18 education is completely free and yet the majority of us complain about school constantly and don't bother doing work. Children in first world countries are DESPERATE for schools and education.

I'm going to make the most of what I have, and not take anything for granted any more.

I bought a new cardigan

It was £48.
I can't believe I spent £48 on a piece of clothing.
I don't even know who I am any more.

It's a really nice cardigan though.
