Oxjam

I volunteered at Oxjam with a friend this weekend :) If you don't know what it is, it's basically a music festival that raises money for Oxfam and it's really really great. I was a steward for a few hours in the afternoon and then could go to anything in the evening for free. The music was actually great, despite it being mostly local, pretty amateur musicians. We sat downstairs in this really cute little cafe for a bit and it was an intimate acoustic set thing. One of the people playing was a secondary school teacher. I hope my teachers do stuff like that in their spare time.

There was also glitter fairies... yeah. A pound to have glitter on your face as modelled below. Great idea if you ask me.

I had a nice day today as well, a roast with my mum's side of the family who I rarely see. I haven't seen some of them for about 5 years so yeah it was really nice to see everyone.

Anyway I'm exhausted so I think I might have a power nap and then try and get some work done. x x
