Okay well I'm not really new, but I cleared all my old posts to start afresh! Basically I decided to blog about my life, because I can. And I'm sick of Tumblr again.
Well I got back from Taunton this morning after staying at my brother Nick's house with my dad for a couple of days. He's a single father to a two year old girl, which I think is amazing. It also happens that my niece is the most adorable thing in the whole world. Her name is Robyn and she's so polite and lovely and I just love her so much. She really loves me as well. I slept in the same room as her and this morning I woke up to her climbing into my bed and cuddling up to me, and when her dad made her sit at the table to eat her toast she told me to "stay there!" while she ate so she could sit on my lap and watch Cbeebies afterwards. So cute. Me and Dad had to look after her one evening when Nick went to work which was hilarious, since neither of us can change nappies. You'd think my dad would have some kind of idea after having five kids...
We took her to her auntie's house (my sister) before we left because she gets restless on long car journeys and as Nick was carrying her up the path she was shouting "LOVE YOU SHEV, LOVE YOU GRANDAD!" I actually miss her so much, but I'm glad she lives relatively near (about a one hour car journey) so we get to see her quite often.
I do feel sorry for her though, growing up in Taunton. It's one of the most boring places I've ever been to and so far away from everything. The town centre place isn't that bad but it's so small. Maybe I only think like that because I've lived a 15 minute walk away from the centre of Bristol my whole life, but it definitely made me realise I always want to live in a big city. I think I'd go crazy if I didn't.
I've basically slept for the whole of today because I've been sleeping really badly lately. I still feel a bit tired and ill though, which is annoying because I have so much coursework to do, and I still haven't finished my EPQ (a 5000 word essay that was really meant to be finished months ago). Oh well. Here's a picture of Robyn and me that you can aww at. (Not a new one, because every time I tried to take a picture of us this weekend she'd try and take the phone off me saying she wanted to take it).
